Well...outside looks fabulous!  It's almost time to plant my desert garden!  That's what I call the garden that I plant and then forget to water and take care of! ...I don't forget...exactly....I avoid!
The grass looks a little tall right now.....hmmm...maybe it will snow!

I don't know what it is about "Just Rite" stamps...but I seem to have a thing
for them. I just look at a new set of stamps and then my brain goes.."hey baby, lets color!"

I've been working hard on my new website hoping that one day - I'll actually think it's done.  I've changed the way it looks, the way the photos are taken, the way I name my product...I'm cursed!  I'm probably confusing it with card making...because nothing seems to look good enough!  I have a beautiful picture of the studio on the front page with snow falling!  So obviously!...I'll have to change it!  Craziness!  There must be a pill for this!

I literally have nothing to say!....Usually I've got something burning on my brain that has to get out and make an appearance! But maybe my brain has been fried? (not a good sign...but probably something to be expected!...the belly protrudes...the brain rots...you know!)  So I will leave you with another card and no ongoing commentary to muddle your life with!

I will bring my set that I used plus any extra that I have to share with you...but you will be sharing with any others who also do not have a complete set.  I'm sure we can all bend a little to make it work!! :)

June should illegal....Now that the roller coaster has stopped...I'm getting off and back to Cardmaking.  I feel that the world should revolve around cards!  Ok ...maybe that's not realistic...but it's certainly easier to understand!

What is it about Just Rite Stamps?  They are wiggly and hard to stamp with!  They make great images...but I often get ink on the rims and if you don't attack with a wet wipe first...you get extra ink on your paper. Darn it...  But when you finish it off ?...somehow it all comes together.

I'm a big fan of May Arts Ribbon and have always loved being able to add so much to my card with so little expense!  It's like the ultimate in Embellishments.  I own waaaay too many ribbon spools and can easily justify yet another spool of ribbon... .(insert happy sigh).....!

I'll only consider myself a successful blogger when I can do postings even though life takes a twisting turn.  It's one of the reasons I have such a huge respect for single moms.  They do triple plus duty everyday.  And even if someone does give her a break, she knows perfectly well that it won't last and she'll be on the front lines again in a matter of hours.   I've got a great husband and I still can't do it!  If you haven't caught on yet....I'm trying to excuse myself for not blogging consistently.  Who cares if someone blogs consistently?  Probably no-one....but I like to think that if I ever get a handle on it...I might be slightly organized!  Wouldn't that feel awesome??!!!  I can't wait!

It took me awhile to make a match for my other two cards.  But it can't be too matchy matchy right??!!  They're pretty matchy!  darn!

Once again I'm about to put up a card on my blog without everything done and hope that I get back to it to fill the recipe in.  Thanks to a very good friend named Demra, We got the packaging and organizing for 2 classes coming up this week.  At which point I told myself...OK - now I'll blog!  But I'm poopy tired and my eyes are crossing involuntarily....so I'm going to just throw this card up and drag myself to the kitchen where I left a glorious mess!!!  Actually, it's not at all glorious....it's sad really!

I do have to tell you one cool thing though!  This card really needed a charm or something to set it off.  This is a great set of stamps from "Just Rite Stamps"....but, you know, it just needed a little something!  So I went looking for a free clip art anchor!  And what do you know?!  The perfect one was waiting there for me to use!  I colored it, cut it out, popped it out with foam mounting and used some crystal lacquer to give it that "charm" feel!  Yay!!

I know I called this card "Take me Away!"....But when I think about it ...it's only the romance of the idea of   Sailing Away!  Being on a little Sailboat with the land in the far distance cannot be that relaxing!  Pay for the Boat, move the boat, fix the boat, clean the boat, learn how to pilot the boat, fight over who gets to steer, pee in the little potty, make the same meals you make at home except while it's rocking and everyone else is upstairs enjoying themselves, get lost in on the lake....but I digress!

My hubby Gerald and I were out and about in the snow checking out the sweetest Stamp Store you would ever want to shop in!  We love checking out Stamp Stores!  This store was extremely well managed and beautifully laid out!  No small feat in this economy.  I wish I knew the name of the owner I was talking to...it was either Kim or Kelly...darn.  They are very niche, specializing in a small branch of stamping in particular and doing it extremely well.  I could talk about it at length - but not everyone is totally fascinated by the running of Stamp stores like me!  I sure admire this one!  Check it out!  It's called the "Paper Pickle Co."!!!
And yes!  It looks exactly like the beautiful pictures inside!

Santa's Hat

I've been experimenting with Just-Rite Stamps and wondering if I want to get into them or not. I love this card...but the stamps are so skinny and wiggily that it's easy to pick up extra ink around the edges. I may put up with it...to keep using their unique style, images and fonts/patterns all done in circles or ovals for the most part.

This particular card is for Shannon's class at "Remember When Scrapbooking and More". We had a lovely full class last week on Dec.9th...so we decided to have one this week as well on Dec.16th 11am.  (586) 598-1810.

A Just Rite Christmas

Oh to be a perfect blogger! Maybe I should give up and only blog once a quarter so that I can let go of the guilt of not doing it at least once a week!

What do you think of these "Just Rite Stamps"?? I like them...but there seems to be a lot of circles involved! These brings a whole new set of challenges to the equation. Just how many cards involving circles can one do? Stamp on a circle is also an interesting experience ~ It doesn't matter if you can see through the block...getting it perfectly centered is beyond my eyes! Time to acquire the "Spellbinder die-cuts" made specifically for this purpose! Stamp first and then run the stamping through the die-cut. I'll be purchasing this item today!!! Running a class without this tool would be too frustrating I think!
